Modern Gardening's mission

Modern Gardening's main goal and mission is to provide support, information, tips and tricks to help both old and new gardeners on their path to growing and cooking their own food. Whether it be on a homestead, allotment, small garden or on a balcony; our mission is to make gardening and cooking easier, and more accessible to all.  

Meet the owner

I am an Engineer come gardener, with a life goal for self sufficiency. I like to use modern, sometimes unproven, techniques mixed with proven well known tips and tricks to maximise yields and make the job easier. After all, working smarter not harder has been relevant for my whole  career. 

I'm extremely fascinated and passionate with inventions, technology and the fantastic adaptations that people are developing in the 21st Century. 

Over the years I have found that finding the right information, or alterative information to support my gardening ventures has been very difficult. With many hours wasted trawling through the internet, website after website, to find tips and tricks to help me develop as a gardener. Mix that with the inability to find any useful tools out there, at a reasonable price! 

My goal is to bring all of this information into one place, let you learn with me; and together we can all thrive and live in a world where growing and cooking your own food is easy. 

Transparency

Here at Modern Gardening we are not experts, we believe that no one is an expert when it comes to gardening, we are all learning together; therefore all our advice, tips and tricks are from experience not necessarily the rule. 

Our products are mainly distributed from the UK, with a few exceptions. All of our products are manufactured in China. This may not align with some peoples views, but our main aim is to get you good quality products at an affordable price.
